The gaming division of Sony is completely unrelated to the picture division. Infact, the Ratchet & Clank movie coming out isn't even being distributed by Sony Pictures yet it's a first party title.

Everyone knows these aren't related companies. PlayStation is owned by Sony. Vaio is owned by Sony etc. They don't work together though.
