A look at the sexism on basically every radio format but pop:
Hot Adult Contemporary's T10 artists has 2 females - Lorde/Katy.
Adult Contemporary's T10 also has 2 - Sara Bareilles/Katy.
Country's T10 has 0 since Carrie was on a bit of a break...though Lady A does have a female vocalist. For their overall Country Artists chart which tracks sales etc. too there's one in the T25, Miranda.
Rock's T10 has Lorde.
Alt's T10 has Lorde.
Mainstream rock's T10 does have Jenny Humphrey/Taylor Momsen-fronted The Pretty Reckless at #2.
R&B/Hip Hop's T10 has Bey/Jhene.
Adult R&B's T10 has Ledisi.
Rap's T10 has Iggy/Nicki.
Latin's T10 has 0, as does Latin Pop.
Christian's T10 has Francesca Battistelli.
Gospel's T10 has Tamela Mann.
i feel like katy only slays the bb charts, it's not that impressive.

This is legit getting soooo old now. Honestly just don't post anything towards her name if you don't use her cause the battle is so played out.
There's nothing dumb about slàying charts.
Katy rightfully sold way more singles than Beyoncè to be over her despite less album sales; and Taylor got Billboard's Woman of the Year and will likely be 2015's Top Female anyways.
Most of her success only came from AATB. She lacked in albums (obviously), tours (again, obviously) and social status - which all factor into the artist rankings.
I guess so. Still expected her to drop into the 30s tho.
Dark Horse, omg! And some people thought All of Me would top it. Lmao!
