All I need to watch now is Birdman and Selma. Maybe Foxcatcher too (for Dame Redgrave) but I am afraid that one is ever increasingly looking to be shut out.

Still Alive? Nah, not yet. I haven't had time to watch screeners yet. 'Them' was the big leak but I think 'Her' is rumored to be shuffling around either today or this week.
(And yes am aware that I could go up to the theater to see Birdman and Whiplash - am cheap and they don't seem like films that have to be seen in a cinema )
I remember that wonderful time when I got a huge theater that was completely empty (aside from little ole me) when I went and saw Wolf of Wall Street this time last year. Good times.

The most empty one I went to recently was American Hustle last January in the middle of the day.

That was the only time I've been in an empty movie theater before. It was kinda fun. Took some illicit snapchats of some very memorable scenes and got to lie out on the chairs.
