The reality is that for the rap community, Grammys don't mean much any more. People are still pissed about Macklemore winning last year, it's been kind of a joke all year that Iggy will collect a Grammy, J. Cole has made a comment that she'll definitely win a Grammy. Iggy winning will, to the hip-hop community, be just another way to discredit her as a pop act and a culture venture. Which is fine and probably won't hurt her that much, Iggy can probably continue to collect her Wins as a pop-rapper because she's actually a nice person, pretty, distinct, intelligent etc.

So yes, her getting a nom for a Grammy is great, but as far as gauging what people are actually feeling in terms of rap music it's not a great receipt and could definitely backfire on her.

Hopefully she doesn't post screenshots of her text messages to Schoolboy Q or something.

Am I the only one that thinks Nicki is doing fine...?

Only had major backlash and is still like kinda holding up well on iTunes for a random urban-aimed song. Anaconda is too polarizing/campy to be a longevic hit. Bed Of Lies has been performed a few times randomly but nobody knows what it is (they need to send it to Pop radio and make a video).

Dark Horse is such a great song but Kety ruined it with that God awkful video . She completely tarnished the song with a damn video . She doesnt deseve to win with that .

I'm pretty sure Robyn (not Rihanna) got a larger boost from her SNL performance
