Oh no, INDIA ARIE was that girl. The first black girl to come out and say she loves herself regardless of what society has to say. She had the natural hair, her style was very earthy girl chic, and she played guitar and sang beautifully.

She literally had the WORST TIMING in history as Alicia Keys dominated everything India was supposed to gain.

They don't possibly believe Iggy will win Rap Album? Eminem has that on lock, and it will be his sixth in that category.

She stands a better chance in Pop Group, but that category could go either way.

First of all, Jessica Chastain is ugly and vastly overrated. Secondly, Disney's artists made Ariel's hair red because red hair shows up better underwater than blonde hair. Ariel was originally supposed to be blonde, but blonde hair in underwater shadow ends up looking grey and dingy.

Where's Charli? Rita Oral? Moo? She cant do her performances withouth the main thing that people like about her songs. And was she able to keep her fake acccent or did a little part of her inner Kangaroo come out? india.arie would have been more successful if she would have stayed with her original image. She later became "too black" and indie, so the general public eventually rejected her. Meanwhile, Alicia Keys buckled and got more Caucasian and ditched the cornrows and lesbian undertones, so the general public embraced her (for a while, at least). I do find it humourous that india.arie tried to gain back the general public by latching on to Pink for a minute, though. Too little too late.

I read that they went from blonde to red so that her hair would match her fiery personality. But either way, once that was settled, they went with green and purple b/c they complement red.
