Well the pop danthology are just a bunch of snippets overlapping each other from what I've heard

Earworm makes (or tries to) make a proper song with verses and a definite chorus by piercing bits and pieces from different songs together. That takes way more effort and creativity tbh.

The 2014 one is bad tho

it's a good idea in theory but he just doesn't make it work. danthology basically does the same thing except he makes four/five different songs that segue into each other, but each section is remixed well. it's not as basic as snippets overlapping
