Greg Kurstin is not a "silly pop songs producer" as he seems reading that article.
He has a jazz background and he has worked with Sia,Pink,Kelly Clarkson,Beyoncè,Lana del Rey,Red hot Chili Peppers and many others...
There's nothing to worry about if that is true

Why though? He has done Chandelier with Sia, Try with P!nk, Lilly's The Fear and other amazing songs. It's who you work with as a producer that brings out the best in your work and we know Adele does that
I mean he produced Sia's entire album and its amazing so... no worries i would say.

I agree with you guys, and I like the work he's done; I stan for a lot of the pop artists he's worked with, like P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Sia, and Bey. The idea of Adele becoming a pop artist like them as opposed to sticking to her soul roots is what frightens me, though. The article made it sound like she's changing genres. I don't want her to do that.

And also he's the mind behind "Sheezus"!He did 90% of the production of that album,and as a Lily Allen fan trust me when I say it's one of the few things that makes it worthy of a listen!
