I have been off for a few days, but what happened to the big download projections for the week of Black Friday? I thought Blank Space would go over 400,000, but its only at 325,000.

Gwen would be so much higher if iTunes didn't **** up!
#50...she will rise a lot tonight as the voice performances and new releases fall though, hopefully

Exactly. she lost so many sales, and apparently people who bought it last night lost their money because the song isn't playing anymore.

Black Friday has no impact on downloads--it's a brick-and-mortar retail event. Also, Thanksgiving week has almost an entire day of no retail outlets being open, and it is not the biggest music sales week of the year.

I am editing this because the website originally did not provide enough space between the response I was replying to.
I am not sure radio would play this much at all, which would limit its sales potential. Billy Holiday recorded the song in 1939, and her record company refused to release it for obvious reasons. She almost lost her recording contract. Annie Lennox recorded a version on her recent Jazz CD. Singles and Album tracks! BS and SIO still selling large numbers. Album tracks Bad Blood, Style and Wildest Dreams, still shifting 20k or so each. WTNY got a boost last week from Thanksgiving Parade. Style will get a boost when VSFS airs next week. Plus the other tracks are still selling a couple of k here or there each. It all adds up and boosts 1989 for BB200 Chart.
