Didn't Shaak Ti get killed by General Grevious in Episode III? It was a deleted scene. She was kidnapped with the Chancellor and killed.
There was a whole bunch of confusion over that. I thought that was considered canon at first, too, however, because it was cut from the film, it's considered non-canon. In the script, however, it states that Anakin walks into a room where Shaak Ti is meditating and slaughters her right there. A rough cut of the scene made it onto the Revenge of the Sith Blu-Ray and is on YouTube. But then it was decided that what really happened to her was that she was on night watch and escaped Order 66. She fled to Felucia (maybe looking for Aayla Secura?) and met Maris Brood, who she trained, however, she was eventually killed in battle by Starkiller.
Personally, I would've loved to have seen a scene kind of like in the original script where Anakin goes in to slaughter her, however, she senses his presence and attempts to fight back. A short lightsaber duel between Shaak Ti and Anakin could have been really interesting.

It kinda totally suxxx that there have been, like, no Star Wars games worth playing the current and past-gen save for the first Force Unleashed. They used to have such good games. Just beat KotOR. Either gonna try and pick up Shadows of the Empire or KotOR II next. Or maybe Battlefront II.
I'd also be willing to play TOR afresh if anyone is interested.
Yeah. I would HIGHLY recommend Battlefront II (it's one of my all-time favorite video games; it's literally all I've been playing lately). I have an account for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but I haven't been on it much. I don't have the time to use it, unfortunately. It's a cool game, though. I really like it.

TOR is honestly good, especially with all the codex stuff which adds a lot of interesting information about basically everything
"Obi-Wan Kenobi opened his eyes to find himself staring at what he strongly suspected was Anakin's butt.
It looked like Anakin's butt—well, his pants, anyway—though it was thoroughly impossible for Obi-Wan to be certain, since he had never before had occasion to examine Anakin's butt upside down, which it currently appeared to be, nor from this rather un- comfortably close range."
And I just remembered something concerning the Shaak Ti discussion yesterday:
Technically she's dead and not on Felucia as TFU says, since we see her die in a vision from one of the Mortis arc episodes in The clone wars' third season

This is so suggesting some Obi wan/anakin slash
I'm dying!

Really? That's interesting! I didn't know that. Thanks for sharing! I stopped following the show in the middle of the second season. I thought it got to be a bit ridiculous; the first season was excellent, but I didn't like where it was going, and I felt like it needed to stop changing from one storyline to another every single episode. There was no consistency, and I feel like they were just trying to gain the support of younger viewers with it by including an overabundance of action sequences and battles.

Yeah, definitely. I've read the junior novelizations for all six films, and I read the official novelizations for The Phantom Menace, Revenge of the Sith, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, and I read part of the novelization of A New Hope. They are all excellent. Hopefully the one for the next film is as well.

Consider watching The Clone Wars again starting from season 3 sis, the first two seasons were ok but it gets really interesting starting from season 3 and some arcs are really interesting, such as the Mortis arc, all about the nightsisters, Darth Maul (even tho I wanted them to keep him dead), and all episodes of Season 6 were great. There's also a few great episodes such as heroes on both sides and a few annoying ones such as the droids arc in season 5

Really?! Could you please link me?!
And I agree with the last paragraph. A Shaak Ti vs Anakin duel could of been epic! So many background characters deserved more involvement though such as Shaak Ti, Aayla Secura, Kit Fisto, so many! I'm glad we have the expanded universe with many chapters on characters to build knowledge on and get a glimpse of what sort of person they are.

Did anyone else find Aayla Secura so so so so hot for an alien? She was stunning

There's a line later on in the novel where Padme remarks to Obi-Wan "You love him too, don't you?" and he didn't deny it.
For me: expanded universe basically covers anything prior to the Prequels and go until the end of Return of the Jedi. Anything past that turns into a huge fanfiction mess (tho I liked the comics with Cade Skywalker too).

right? she looked so good?
Twi'leks in general are hot, and so are Zeltrons (but those are a near-human species), I mean Deliah Blue & Chantique are

I sorta don't mind it that much, I feel like the Dark Empire trilogy sorts of deminishes the Movie's importance cause those bring back the Emperor so I never really counted it in my personal canon especially since it goes against the chosen one prophecy. The Yuuzhan Vong were interesting and all but I feel like they made it wayy too long and messy they should have made it a bit shorter and simpler. But I agree the Legacy comics>>>
Thrawn is ok too
My favorite comics must be Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy overall, Tales of the Jedi and Dawn of the Jedi were interesting too

Oh, never mind, I stopped in Season 3 because I continued to follow it when they started the whole thing with Darth Maul. That's what turned me away, though. I was infuriated that they found it acceptable to bring him back to life. He needed to stay dead; he was a great character, but bringing him back to life was pointless.

Yeah, you can watch it here. And yeah, a battle between Shaak Ti and Anakin would have been AMAZING. I also agree that for an alien, Aayla's got a nice body!

Yeah, that's how I feel, too.
Speaking of which... How do you guys feel about the idea of Luke marrying Mara Jade and Han and Leia having three children like in the Expanded Universe books? I'm really glad the new film won't be based off of this, because first of all, I don't know why it's okay for Luke to be married, especially to someone who previously tried to kill him, and I can't imagine Han and Leia having children because to me, they're still the same way they were in Return of the Jedi. I'm excited to see where their characters are at in The Force Awakens. I want them to at least be married, but I don't know if I want them to have kids or not.
I read the coolest rumor that the villain from this film is some Sith Lord, possibly an android, that's obsessed with Darth Vader. He ends up going to Endor digging out his remains and wears pieces of his old suit.

That's creepy I read a rumour the black stormtrooper in the trailer is Luke's son didn't see that one coming.
