 I was very disappointed with the movie. The book showed me what it's really like to have Alzheimer's. It's not just about forgetting your relatives' names and not knowing who they are and stuff. It goes so much deeper that. You don't know who 
you are. For example, you lose your language, you see things that aren't there (like a huge hole in the ground), you lose your sense of distance and space (you may think a sidewalk is 3 feet tall), you no longer know what kind of food you like, basically you completely lose everything that made you you. Your brain rots away. 
The movie barely scratched the surface.
