I wouldn't doubt Spall. This is his second win of the season and the Oscars love their British actors/movies. The way Carrell went from frontrunner status to barely #4 or #5 on people's lists is telling.

The thing is that Mr. Turner is a British movie with very shy release and promo campaign, also Timothy is not a very known actor. He's getting a big boost but I still think Steve will get it.
