He certainly can, and even in some dimension where Jennifer Gonzalez Rodriguez Sanchez Guadalupe outsold Justin Timberlake, the former released EIGHT studio albums (ten if you include Dance Again and J To Tha Lo!), while the latter released four on his own. Also, the former released several albums when record sales were at their all-time high, while JT only managed to get one out there on his own before they started plummeting dramatically.
Besides, he also has more respect, a bigger legacy, much more acclaim, is capable of gaining success on his own, and has more to show for this decade than a bunch of crappy, forgotten EDM tracks with Pitbull and the most desperate music video of all-time where she let a hideous albino rub oil all over her over-bloated ass while "singing" about the one thing that people recognize about her nowadays.
