She only beat it once, and that's with this single. She debuted at #1 as an Idol single. Two completely different things. 
Hmmm, I just noticed. This makes yet another rival of Christina's to go #1, and she flails at #7.

It's not really the jump that makes this special, it's the fact that she hit #1, when some considered her career over.

I agree. The same for Britney. It's an amazing feat. Both girls hit some kind of bump, and now they're both running things.

Well, coming from you, I'm not surprised you dwell that deep to think that way.
And she does deserve it from the way RCA treated her last album. Though I'm worried about the future of this record. We've seen the label demanding flop, successful comeback single, then the album bombs because of label disputes during the process. Hopefully this is not the case.

I loved Britney having the record, but I LOVE Kelly too, they're two of my favorite singers, so if someone's going to break Britney's record, I'm really glad Kelly was the one to do it.

What is with you and speaking before knowing the facts?  You should stop, cause it makes you look stupid. And all someone has to do is release their single to radio/airplay the same week and straight to #1.
The record has been broken 10 times in the last year and 6 months.

I hope you're talking about the Queen of England cause your fave ain't royalty. And when I occasional write about her I mostly use Britbot or *******, I don't drop her name.
