Not because of the album sales, nor the acclaim it was all about the singles success that the other female emcees no longer have, therefore Iggy even though she doesn't deserve half the success she has, was just a reflection of what is being termed as rap royalty nowadays i.e the likes of Lil Wayne and Nicki so I find it highly hypocritical for a barb to come for Iggy

 This is all a lie.
We were always very proud of Nicki's album sales and critical acclaim. She is still relevetn, like she broke the VEVO record a couple months ago, and just had a #1 on pop and urban radio. Currently has a #1 on Rythmic radio
Like she has better acclaim than most female rapper, and the only albums by female rappers that have outsold Nicki have been Missy's Under Construction (2.1M) and Lauryn Hill's The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill (8M). 1.9M (last update we received in 2012) is amazing for a female rapper.
