Oh don't even try it. Nicki has proven herself even more desperate for success this era than Gaga has. I don't recall the latter going as far as hiring not one, but TWO major-labeled female pop singers to feature on her album to garner interest, nor do I recall her throwing herself on top of EVERY OTHER ARTIST'S song in the span of 6 months to make EVERYONE sure that she's releasing music.
As desperate as Gaga was, she at least managed to score real success with one of her singles, and even her 2nd single was a smash in comparison to most of Nicki's singles this era. She also created one theme throughout her era and stuck with it, whereas Nicki looked up every trick in the book to get back her success, and she still failed.
The sad fact is that The Pink Print will sell half of ARTPOP's total IF SHE'S LUCKY, and even her urban fan base is starting to get tired of her incessant trend-hopping and leaving her behind, to the point where even Iggy's current status seems like a huge success story compared to hers.
She's putting herself on Iggy's level.
