Not Taylor Swift having less votes that Gaga
Nothing against Taylor, but she should be winning this poll. She's a great artist, but imo she's not as big worldwide as Rihanna and Katy, who also have the smallest peaks out of the options.
Can't really speak for her worldwide career, but out of those options, it was definitely Shakira in the US. Laundry Service was a relatively big for her, but her peak in the US was pretty much solely the Hips Don't Lie era

Most of these girls peaks have lasted around the same either way... Who peask for more than 2-3 years ? Beyonce has repeaked twice but both times for only a year. Lady Gaga's smash peak was from 2009 to 2012. Britney 98 - 2002. Katy 2010-2012. Rihanna in 2007-2008 etc.

I don't understand this logic, if you're gonna go regional then you really can't get any smaller than Taylor and Beyonce outside the US/Anglosphere.
The poll is clearly asking for overall peak not just certain countries.
For people voting Gaga.....if her peak was smaller than the rest of those artists, how come you guys call ARTPOP such a flop, and when other artists like Rihanna have similar sales, its seen as fine?
