I thought so too since I attended a stadium date at the artRave (spoilers: awful production) but the arena version slays harder that BTWB ever did.
artRave is ha best tour in every way imaginable besides the outfits (sorry, I literally don't like ANY of them) and maybe the inflatable castle which looks good but is utterly useless.
I can't decide if these Madonna fans are 14 or 40. Their immaturity levels are that of a 14 year old but their bitterness is that of a 40 year old who wished they could be a young gay twink again.
The Monster Ball is Gaga's most boring tour (I'm not counting the Fame Ball cause never seen it).
The Fame Ball was amazing! It was super personal and up close .. especially since her fame was already on the up-rise midway through the tour which resulted in sold out shows in seconds towards the middle of the whole stent of the tour.
I think my venue only had 4 thousand (Landmark theatre) and literally a few month later she was doing arenas of 10 thousand which is crazy.
The Born This Way Ball was next level ****. From the epic history till the amazing setlist
made it her best tour. Nothing was boring about it and the costumes was on point which
I can't say the same for the artRAVE. artRAVE felt like a downgrade tbh.
I really enjoyed the artRave and I liked that it was like one big nonstop party, but I love the BTWB. The costumes, the story, the castle. Everything about it
I remember when the BTWB started in Korea, it was so early in the morning here and the pics coming in made no sense and the setlist seemed so messed up (performing BTW three songs in ). Then the crappy shaky IG videos became HQ castle pics showing the lighting and YT performances began going up and I lost my mind along with the rest of GGD...
I honestly was disappointed with the BTWB castle. I thought that the concept sketch was gonna be exactly what it would look like in real life - massive, otherworldly. When i saw it in video it just looked small and flat. Maybe i didn't like the way it was set up for indoor venues.
Random, but Tony Bennett was in a studio 3 days ago. He posted a picture on his Instagram.
I wouldn't mind Lady Gaga ft. Tony Bennett on the next album tbh.
