So tonight I gave a listen to the soundtracks of
Mockingjay Part 1!
The Original Score(OS) got two spins and the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack(OMPS) got three spins, because it took me off guard and I had to listen it three times
The OS has an amazing sound mixture between the previous two scores and the scores of
The Half-Blood Prince and
The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & Part 2! Howard did an amazing job with it and I can't wait to hear his last work on the project next year
Now the OMPS that was the real surprise for me! Of course Lorde's songs are one of the top pieces on it. And they've added background vocals and a piano instrumental to the album version of
Yellow Flicker Beat 
It sounds way better than the original version
There is only one thing that I didn't like about the album! If you don't know that it's a soundtrack, you'll think that it's a POP/R&B/Electro album with various artists on it
(which is exactly that
)
It sounds totally different (obviously
) from the previous two who had more settled Country/Folk/Rock vibe.
But I love it, love it, love it
I don't know why Ariana Grande was on it tho
I would be very, very happy if Adele score a song on the soundtrack next year
She'll smash it
and she's the only one who can snatch Jenn's wig
My final thoughts:
