It's also still #1 on R&B/Soul iTunes! Omg, I can't @ this just putting his other 2 singles that deserved so much success to shame. It's not even damn Top 100 on Overall Airplay yet.

Mind you this hasn't also been performed, promoted, or given a music video.

They should just wait for a moment and see what will happen. If the track will not start falling down on Itunes dramatically they should give it some promo - video, few perfomances. If not they should use the track just to gain some momentum

I don't remember when was the last time that Usher single was so high on Itunes (maybe Climax?) It's on #27 right now and It's still rising

I agree with this. I also think due to it being leaked in the summer, it gained recognition among the underground folks, so it's just spreading. Lets see if this can be sustained. I'm kinda disappointed that this song define the era atm.

Also the last song that peaked very high on iTunes was Scream at no.4. Could've gone higher but had too much competition from Call Me Maybe and Payphone.

"I Don't Mind" is a banger tbh and people want songs like this with a fresh instrumental. For example: I don't like "Good Kisser" or "She Came to Give It to You " that much because in my opinion songs like this hide Usher's great voice but on "I Don't Mind" and "Clueless" you can hear his voice skills 100%.

I never thought it would be doing so great. Tbh I think this is the worst single this era, but its still a good song. Its so weird how people want him to go back to that classic sound yet those songs didn't do so well. I'm glad he isn't just sticking to one particular sound.

I agree, its the worst single of the era. I kinda disagree with you Usher, I do think "She Came to Give it to You" showed his vocal skills a lot due to a stripped instrumental. "Good Kisser", eh. I don't get an Usher factor from "I Don't Mind" either.

It's just been a messy era for me to the point I even lost interest. It's good to finally see him do well though.
