OMG Billboard is really trying to sabotage Bey.

Billboard says they have placed too much weight on streaming and that from next week, streaming will hold a considerably lower percentage and Hot 100 will be centered mainly around sales and radio. ****!

I can't believe this. All the time Bey could have benefited from streaming (Run The World, Single Ladies), it was a non factor. Then streaming came in while Bey was on break. Now that she has a potential streaming magnet on her hands, they want to take it from her. This is why Bey doesn't use any of these money hungry corporations. I'm with her and her no promo/no commercial success stand.

i don't think most people understand the politics behind bey basically doing nothing for her album after it was released

so much money-hungry mess is going on in the industry right now and she's just trying to figure where she fits in

I seriously wouldn't be surprised if one of the single artists' teams was behind Billboard counting single success for Billboard 200. These record labels will pay radio, mtv, Billboard, anything to make their artist look like the next MJ.

Columbia is and was always great to Bey but I can't wait till she finally leaves and begins to release under Parkwood and partner with companies for things like distribution

EVERYTHING has been in Parkwood's control this ERA, especially singles. Columbia didn't cancel every single pop radio release, it was Bey. I'm sure Columbia was BEGGING for some real single treatment. I know they were trying to push the album and were told no... so
