Clap, clap, clap, clap, clap it
Foot up, my foot up
Hold up now my foot up
I'm spinnin' my foot up
Foot up yeah my foot up
I'm spinnin' my foot up
Put my foot down yeah my hands up
My hands up, my hands up
Flexin!
Flexin' while my hands up
The thing about Beyoncé is, when she goes off, she goes OFF. Better than any other girl. It's because she does it so rarely that when it happens, it's FIRE.
I was in Paris this weekend when this dropped and literally overheard French people talking about this in the metro The video is so amazing, I love it.
I love the message behind this video. She's so free, fearless and fierce in this video. She just doesn't give a single **** anymore. This video proves that Bey is above any other pop girl. She doesn't need fancy videos, she does whatever she wants.
Now that I had some time to enjoy the song, I feel like I perceive it as its supposed to be perceived: The way 7/11 sounds and the way the video is designed, I feel like its supposed to be the outro of a movie, and if one thinks about it, it perfectly makes sense cause BEYONCE can be regarded to be a music movie. Hence the sound of 7/11, hence the low-budget, bts-esque video with all of her female dancers, hence the good-feel, idgaf-attitude. Its supposed to be the outro of this era starring Queen B!
