I went into a restaurant yesterday and they were playing christmas songs! Particularly Taylor's Santa Baby and Last Christmas, Brit' My Only Wish and Xtina's stuff. And it just occured to me how sweet and beautiful Taylor's voice when They played Taylor and Xtina back to back. Like, her voice hits you right in the heart and want you to sing along, where Xtina just belts and belts everything. Taylor's voice is so soothing and calm. Hopefully she utilizes her voice on some romantic, sweet songs again and not just the big pop bops.
I am here for whatever Taylor wants to do next. I initially thought it couldn't get any worse than MM, but damn if this bitch didn't prove me wrong and come out with some of the best MM songs I've ever heard
No matter who she works with, we will always have Taylor's influence on her records, that has become apparent.
