She did a press conference when BEY first came out and she said the reason she was able to make this album and release it the way she did is because she basically shut the label out. They wanted her to redo the album and make it more top 40/chart ready and she didn't want to (thank god, imagine not hearing this).
She also said nothing can be done twice, but her team is always looking into new ways to get the music directly to the listener without the extra ******** that labels make artists do. She is easily the most exciting popstar we have left, you never know what to expect from her, she is never obvious.
