The question in the OP is about gaga being a main POP girl. The stats you just gave are an indication of how much people love to talk about decline.

Don't get me wrong, gaga isn't irrelevant yet - People still talk about her but only because it's like a car crash, you can't look away at this stage but that will pass. Just like when she first came into being a main pop girl people couldn't get enough of her quirkiness, costumes, out there attitude. It's now old. Soon enough people will get sick of talking about her twitter tantrums, her mentioning Madonna, Her Katy shade.

That's complete conjecture though. None of us is part of the GP, we can't judge accurately so ALL we know is that Gaga is relevant and talked about.
