She hasn't been abandoned, she's just been missing in action for so long there's nothing to talk about or stan for. At least Britney is still kicking so there's some kind of current presence to worship the past work, but with Kesha all is dead.

Katy's planned her career well. The point behind PRISM(commercially) was to cement her status as a pop superstar, and it did that.
Her next album will be her most personal, she said to the VP of Capitol to "get ready for the sabatoge" talking about her next album.

Yeah, it's odd because the biggest players in the game are all from different labels.
Beyonce - Columbia
Taylor - Big Machine Records
Katy - Capitol
Rihanna - Def Jam Recordings
I think their labels will all try and separate their releases as much as possible. Look at what happened the last time two heavy hitters went head on(Gaga and Katy). That was big news, even in the industry.
