You do realize some songs like temperature was released in 2006 and his earlier hit, we be burning in 2005 was in Aug after pon de replay

I'm not saying dancehall was introduced into the charts by Rihanna just that it wasn't as big as some people are pointing it out to be

Pon de replay was the first top 10 dancehall hit since 2004 in 2005 it wasn't as big a genre as the others, and just as rih didn't introduce dancehall bey didn't introduce urban
And I saw that dancepop dancehall receipt and even those urban and r&b tracks mentioned here are classified under pop too
