Omg, ok so then see if this sounds ok to you. I only like buying Ford cars I will only buy a ford car. But that BMW comes out with a really cool car, but I am not going to buy it. So I will go and steal it. does that sound ok to you? it is the same thing that you are saying! it doesnt matter the price difference. people spend money on making music and peope spend money on making car .. doest matter if you like the damn artist or the company of the car! if you want something their is NO justification for you to go and STEAL the music !

First of all, the plan is not retroactive, it's only a measure set up to prevent further filesharing. This is basically a game of chicken that the RIAA is playing with consumers. For the first time in nearly a decade the RIAA will have the upper hand because let's face it, none of us can live without internet these days. We wouldn't have access to the iTunes store, we can't send e-mails, we couldn't use the internet for school/work assignments. And sure, people can still use computers at public libraries but what an inconvenience. The RIAA knows this and they'll use this fear to diminish illegal downloading.
Secondly, this isn't a zero-tolerance policy. You're supposedly going to get three strikes before they completely shut off your service.

Okay, well, even still, considering how many people would lose their internet because of this, even when you factor in a "three strikes" policy, there's no way that this will work on a large scale, because that is money coming out of the pockets of the internet service providers, unless the ISPs are being compensated in a BIG way by the RIAA, in a way that will keep them from losing out on a large amount of money. After all, ISPs are businesses, too.
I can see where you're coming from. I just don't see it working, or, at the very least, not in the way that the RIAA intended.

And eventually the music industry will collaspe and it will be all you assholes fault. Woah sorry I am getting riled up, this is just a very touchy topic for me because I cant STAND people like that.

Yeah I'm kind of skeptical too, but I don't think the RIAA is going to give the ISP's any choice. By law I think there's a way that the RIAA could actually sue the ISP's directly for enabling customers to pirate music (or any other media for that matter). So it's a lose-lose for the ISP's because if they don't comply they'll be sued by the RIAA and if they do comply, they'll lose business. I don't think the ISP's will have to worry about losing too many customers though because most people can't live w/o internet service and will pay whatever expense they need in order to keep it.

I download musics for free LEGALLY!
Yeah my dream came true! I discovered this site in 2008 I'm so happy the site is legal....they post videos, musics and even albums, and I do not have to pay a cent....I love my music server<3333
Plus, I used to download youtube videos, but after they started appearing on my music site, I just rarely do it.
And I do not use Limewire!
