Kim is an entertainment entity. She's powerful. I can understand why someone would stan for her versus some of the flops ATRL cares about. As proven by that Google Trends chart a few pages ago, Kim is literally more famous and talked-about then every artist stanned for on this site, sans MJ.

Why does it matter if somebody stans for a flop? You keep bringing this up. Does it make that person's opinion any less valid? One man's flop is another man's treasure. Not to mention it makes sense for somebody to stan for a popstar even if they are a flop on a pop music forum...

If you stan for a flop pop star at least you are stanning because you love their music, their videos, etc. When you have your 'me and my fave' time, you are watching their music videos, 'getting life' to their performances and songs, etc.

What do Kim stans do? Rewatch episodes with Keeping Up with the Kardashians? I would understand if they were straight and masturbated to her (this is what she is to most of the world, masturbation material), but they are all gay. So what do they do?

I don't have a problem with you stanning for Kim. You can enjoy music while stanning for Kim...but I'm not sure why you actually stan for Kim since she doesn't do anything. Unless you stan for her personality? If that's the case than that's fine.

I enjoy watching Kim's show, reading/watching her interviews, and "keeping up" with her. I find it interesting when she's trotting the globe doing perfume launches and appearances on TV shows and doing big events.

Why is that not enough?

Their initial rises to fame were similar but that's it. Kim did get famous through Paris though, that's how she started being photographed initially.

Kim did everything better and smarter than Paris, every career move has been carefully planned and calculated by her and her team and has therefore ended up with more media exposure and longevity than Paris, all without multiple jail stints and constant partying (the only way young celebs used to get tons of media exposure).
