Beyonce still has crossover appeal. The problem lies in the fact that y'all angry at Beyonce for not delivering ''MULTIFORMAT'' smashes all the damn time. It seems like y'all aren't even curious about the music. Y'all haven't even heard the song and y'all crying about pop radio!1111.
I can agree with performances part thought. I would like more performances.

They keep playing XO, her last single here.
Pretty Hurts was part of a soap opera's soundtrack here in Brazil. They played the song everyday but it still wasn't released in radio.
I wonder when she will remember that she has fans outside the USA. We don't have urban radio here, sis.

I'm sorry for wanting the DJ to spin Beyonce's latest track when I listen to Saturday Night Online or when I'm out at department stores which all have the most popular station tuned in.

No lies spotted.

I don't see the problem with wanting Bey to reach a bigger audience with these songs (that are arguably her best songs ever). Even Jay Z still sends songs to Pop radio. All the artists charting on Urban are dying to be played on Pop radio.
Pop radio doesn't always mean safe and generic songs. Just take a look at the top50 right now and you'll find many songs that are not your typical Pop sound.

If she's so big and popular, surely they'll play anything she releases. Why is she so scared of pop radio, the biggest radio format?

Being the biggest artist doesn't necessarily mean being played the most on pop radio. It's about impact, relevance, perception, respect, etc.

I hope so, I guess AMAs and Grammys are out best chances. I hope at Grammys she does VMAs part II and does 7/11 - Ring Off - SOTS Remix in a medley, I'd really love that (depending how the new ones sound of course, that could end up being a disaster if they sound too similar or too different or just don't mix).

It's pretty evident that she wanted to make a statement this era. I don't think she'll get back to the "normal" routine until the next album.

Ya… it's much more about how she wants to do it. If she just wants to send her songs to Urban, so be it. Just like when she released the album, if you want to hear Beyoncé music you buy the album. If you want to hear Beyoncé songs on the radio, then find an urban station.

The songs that Jay-Z sends to pop always have radio-tailored pop choruses sung by other artists.

So true She didn't release anything until the last 2 weeks of 2013, and she hasn't done much this year compared to others - not shade, she's worked her ass off but some other pop girls stay in the limelight constantly, and much more than Bey in their album cycles vs her in this album cycle - and still she's the most talked about and the most respected. That's not an opinion, that's a damn fact.

There was a point in her career that she worked really hard to have huge pop hits, "4" was a turning point. She wants to make the music she wants to make.
She made a point about singles during LIBAD and she's sticking by it.
Pop radio is ALL politics, it's all about payment or what you do for them, it's NOT about the music, she is rebelling against that and it's evident.

There are urban stations in most of the countries. There are ipod's, iphone's and many other devices where you can listen to Beyonce's music until her next pop smash comes on.

This is sadly true, I don't think she'll ever really promote a single again as long as she lives.
as for that last part, it's partly true but sometimes songs just blow up. DiL, for example

I don't think it's fair to complain about singles and how well they would do if they were sent to different multiple formats.
We got new album, SEVENTEEN music videos, TWO tours, and a re-release. I do miss the various interviews and performance but I'm not going to complain and act like we were short-changed either.

Bey has had 4 #1 songs on Urban this year and they are still not buying her albums and her singles. I doubt a 5th one will make a big difference.
Bey is in the business of making money, no one would drag her sending a song to Pop. If she didn't care about Pop, she would stop working with Pop producers.
And if you say, she's just doing a re-release for the fans, then why not make it free? I'm sure iTunes would write her a check.

Look at Blow for example, she obviously wanted to release it to pop and radio (probably Clear Channel) said they wouldn't play it because of the sexual undertones.
I'm sure that didn't have a positive effect on her opinion of pop radio
