Wide Awake, probably, replaced Work It. It's obviously not 100% confirmed, but it was written in 2012 months after the re-release was aready in motion and Dressin Up, Part of Me and Work It were all registered with the Teenage Dream tracks in 2010.

It's just... Cathy is a flawless pop winter. I Kissed a Girl, Toxic, Can't Get You Outta My Head, Reach... One of the best writers ever.

It's also very likely a rock influenced track as Rivers Cuomo co-wrote it. Then there's Greg Wells, who has never gave Katy a song under 8/10.

I didn't know that. and if Wide Awake did replace it I would have no problem with it cause its one of my fave Katy songs. but hopefully it's released. I would love to see another of your meltdowns

I've always considered Firework a ballad too. If you take away the synths it's obviously a ballad. Also, a ballad can be mid-tempo (hence the phrase mid-tempo ballad )
