I gotta say, sometimes I'm watching it and I don't know why I'm doing that, because some scenes and stories make me want to kill myself. It's a biased love, I guess.
However, I noticed all ABC shows are suffering this season, so the viewers' loss may not be only due to the problems the show has.

I'm guessing Wolverine, Terminator, Transformers, Avatar and Star Trek all cross the 300 million mark.

Weekend estimates are in... and 6 movies all got above $10,000,000! 4 movies also find their way debuting in the top 5!
Clocking in at #1 is Paul Blart: Mall Cop with $33,800,000, making it the biggest opening weekend gross for 2009 so far, and putting it as the second top grossing movie of 2009, just barely behind Bride Wars. Gran Torino moves down to #2 with $22,235,000, debuting at #3 is My Bloody Valentine 3-D with $21,900,000, debuting at 4 is Notorious with $21,500,000, and rounding out the top 5 is Hotel for Dogs which had the highest theater count this week with 3,271, and grossing over $17,707,000. Bride Wars was the other film to gross over $10,000,000 this week with $11,750,000. The biggest increase this week comes from Defiance at #8 with $9,206,000, up +13,401.9% from last week.

I was shocked to see Paul Blart: the Mall Cop debut at #1, I thought that Gran Torino would've had another week at #1, but that's okay. It looks like this will be the biggest MLK weekend ever! Go '09!
