Celine is a better comparison. I remember Celine Dion released her album in September and she got really good boosts during the fall too. She didn't have a hit, but she did a few promotional spots in the US and globally and her album did well (1.3M WW) but the campaign wasn't too long. Britney should try to do something like that. |
Miley released WCS in early June, WB in August and the album in October I think.
I mean, you can't just throw it out there and expect it to do well. She'd have to promote and stuff. For instance, I think if Femme Fatale followed this schedule, she would have done 300k+ first week and the album would have gone platinum.
Pretty sure P!nk released TTAL in September 2012 and it went on to do extremely well.
