Am so glad I got into Scandal what a great show
The camera flashes are a bit too overbearing sometimes tho.

Are we watching the same show? A season in which the protagonist wanted to drown her own baby, ****ed a minor and was ready to kill her father figure just for the writers to always give her an easy opt-out with everything and not having to suffer consequences. It did have two great episodes, though, I will give you that - including last night.

and for the record...Oz isn't a gay show by any means
there's a little bit of everything on there...hispanic problems, handicapped, the mentally ill, LGBT, Rbautz his ppl, etc
oh and an LL Cool J look-a-like, LL Cool J himself, Method Man, Michael from Oz, etc

Season 3 is BAD, I quit in the middle, but apparently the 4th one has been getting great reviews; I just don't care enough about the show to go back.

I just finished season 3 lol, and I loved the second half! Season 2 was a bit too long and dragged out tho

I've definitely been enjoying this season; they're getting it back on track.
Shonda acknowledged over the summer that S3 was messy (rare for her to do!). She basically said Kerry's pregnancy limited her time on set, so they had to focus on other stuff, hence the whole B-613 mess. This season they're mostly back on the case-of-the-week format mixed with an overarching plot, which works a lot better.
