I'm so glad so many of my ATRL sistrens agree with me about Interstellar being a massive, overrated, overhyped, disappointing, steaming pile of Carrie Underwood.
A self-righteous, convoluted 'Contact' rip-off. I should've asked for my money back.
why is everyone giving Katy a hard time cauz of Taylor ending her so effortlessly
but never Ariana ?
taylor also slaughtered her alive, and rendered her useless
Cause Kats and Katy´s team made her believe she was the biggest popstar out there and she was finally in the ´´new queen of pop``category. But Taylor came (not inside her like Dr.Luke and every single guy in her team) and destroyed her.
The sad thing is that it's really Nolan's cocky attitude that ruined the film.
He refused to embrace CGI and instead went for physical models - the result being something reminiscent of Star Trek.
He refused to embrace digital filmmaking, resulting in an extremely subpar film experience the 99% of us that don't live near a 70MM IMAX cinema and instead have to see it on a regular screen. The conversion to 35MM film was extremely poor and could've been avoided entirely.
There were literally times when I was checking my eyes to make sure they weren't going bad because the picture in many scenes was so blurry (specifically many of the scenes where they're in the spaceship and it's close up on their faces). There was no point of focus whatsoever - I felt like I was going blind.
