I have no desire to listen to Nick Jonas' album. IDK, I've just never liked the Jonas Brothers and I'm not really interested in checking out this one either.
After a ton of confusion over what this round would be I decided to go back to my original idea (plus I came up with this brilliant title as an ode to all of you that won't stop plagiarizing Taylor). Basically, for this challenge you will write a song about a place, or an experience or person therein. Your Empire State of Mind, California Gurls, or Budapest. The place must be specific enough to be recognizable by the judges, but of course be creative. Talk about the place you met your first love or the city you moved to when you moved away from home, or just make a story completely up.

And same about the NJ album. The only songs I've heard are Jealous which I dont like and Avalanche which I only like the Demi part
Here's my favorite song that's an ode to a specific place. It also happens to be my favorite Mariah song lyrically:

You could also write a song about a few specific incidents that took place on a park bench, or the imaginary world you go to when your parents make you mad, or the specific classroom where you seduced your teacher, etc. etc. Doesn't have to be about a town. The PLACE needs to be very clear though and the song needs to be centered on it.
