Most of them were storylines introduced in earlier books (not films), like the house elves, and on top of that comes the fact that the films never strongly focused on the educational part so it makes no sense starting now just because the fifth one focuses more heavily on it.

I know. I just really enjoyed all the bonding in Book 5. To me, that's when Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, and others become a UNIT. It's heartwarming stuff. Also: the end is just so amazingly insane and sad.
