How many copies did BEYONCE sell in its first week?

edit: nevermind, I just googled it and found a billboard article. It's for a Uni assignment.

I'm gonna need her to give us that island-tribal album that GW and SOTS were hinting at. It would be so different from the dying EDM and heavy, slow alternative ballads that are all over the radio these days. Urban is making a comeback but it would be predicatable for her to go down that route again.

Hopefully we get her next LP in early 2016, unless she gets pregnant

I really love the Dance For You video though. The film noir/femme fatale concept was great imo.

Honestly the SOS Reggae Remix > Original SOTS. I'm glad she's putting the remix on the Platinum Edition because it is superior.

Meh, the MCSWT version is heavenly. The version of the original that leaked sounds like a demo, unfinished

Yeah, I mean I do love the live version (and all the studio versions made last summer) but I don't know, the SOS remix has an extra bit of oomph that the original doesn't.

Did we ever find out whether she actually shot a real video for the song and scrapped it or not? I only ask because she'd be smart to service it to radio in April/May but she'll probably have forgotten she even released PE by that point lbr

I hope Bey's next album is ambient-rock/funk-soul. Like Prince meets BOOTS.

That would be life giving

I'd love her to experiment with interludes in her songs/albums, I mean yeah we had Yonce and Ghost but she should take it further and have either skits like rappers do or instrumental tracks to let her albums breathe.

She's a great storyteller, which is shown in her videos and lyrics, even tours, but I'd love to see her tackle a story arc on an album.

And there is a clear line between PH and Flawless. Did you complain when she was singing Single Ladies after getting married? Stop it. The music is to inspire and promote positivity and equality. If Bey has her flaws and chooses to address them by a slight photoshop here or there that's her business. As long as she not racking up on plastic surgery people can kick rocks.

"Single Ladies" is about putting a ring on your finger if you're single, so...

As long as the interludes have some sort of instrumental. I love Janet, but some of her interludes are just her messing around in the studio.. that's not neccesary. I want musical interludes. Yeah, I'd love that.

I can't believe that when all is said and done I'm going have spent over £60 on Self-Titled between the standard physical, standard iTunes, More EP iTunes, re-release physical

It's worth it though.

Do y'all think Self-Titled will be her magnum opus? I always knew that she had more in her before it and she delivered but this time I'm not so sure. A lot of women peak artistically with the album after their first born (Ray of Light, there's more examples but they've gone from my mind) and I hope this isn't the case with Bey.

She's gotten so much praise for this album, hopefully that was enough for her and she isn't worried about it's commercial success (though it was successful). If she doesn't feel like she has to pull a IASF her next album will be her magnum opus. I feel like she has more left to say and prove as an artist. She could push herself further.

3 and a half years late sis

Let the light in, I Miss You is a gem. I always forget about the song and then after a couple of month it just hits me again, it's everything I love about 4 in one song. It's stripped back, chill, melodic, beautiful lyrics and raw vocals
