This might be weird, but when she says "They say you don't know what you got till it's gone, they say that you darkest hour......" in the second verse it reminds me of her voice in Autobiography.
One thing tho I kinda wish Nicki sang the chorus. Even though it wouldn't be as good vocally I feel like this could end up being her signature song and she won't be singing the hook

PnP got boring to people quickly, like me, because the chorus was repeated too many times. On Bed Of Lies everything was perfect. I love how on the last chorus they take the beat out too.

I actually think the lifeless aspect brings more of the emotional side out.
It's kind of like a retrospective statement being made indirectly to SB but just at a point where she's void of anger...just caught in between dealing with it.
Now, Nicki most likely isn't innocent in this whole thing but clearly SB wasn't either...
I wonder if this was like a radio edit or something and that the song or album version of it is a little bit longer?
Not a criticism about this specific song, though.
