Makes sense. They don't have steady hosts. It's not impactful on artists' sales and profiles anymore. They don't play the top 10 countdown anymore. The time slot changed. It's a totally different show by nature now. I saw it coming. But it outlasted TRL, which was the show that had the "cultural impact," and BET tried to use 106 to keep music videos alive, so hats off to them.
I mean it's sucked since Free & AJ left anyway so good riddance
But it's still unfortunate for non-mainstream Urban artists. At least it was somewhat of a platform.
I Don't Mind out peaking She Came to Give It To You on Rhythmic and Urban despite not being an official single yet, not sent to radio, not on iTunes, not on Streamimg services.
This could be a real hit if they throw it in the right places soon. & this proves how big he'll always be with the black community. Get that 15th Urban + 13th Rhythmic #1 & 3rd Urban #1 this year!
