Y'all are so harsh, it's my favourite season after Asylum so far.
I don't get what's difficult to follow, yes, we've got 3 main storylines this time instead of one (Elsa, Emma & Denis, Dandy) but I think the writing is pretty consistent. I love how each episode focuses on a different character.
I could totally see the season ending with Elsa being on television, or her being posthumously acclaimed.
I actually hope Pepper kills Elsa and that's how she ends up in the Asylum
I don't think Elsa is that similar to Fiona. I guess the intimidation over someone younger and being at the end of their rope. But I find Elsa desperate whereas Fiona was cunning throughout...
This is starting to drag on, and it seems like they're just getting into a "lets see how much ****ed up things we can come up with to impress viewers and try to mask the fact that there's no actual story here". At least with Coven you always had the "Who is the Supreme?" motive behind it. This season just seems like they're shoving as much shock value as they can on us
I'm only here for Dandy at this point, his story is the only one that seems consistent and seems to be following any sort of beginning, middle, and end.
Also, this episode made me glad Jessica is leaving, and probably why she choose to. Jessica knows the tea that they'll keep casting her in these "I'm a fabulous bitch who wants glory" type roles that the gays and Ryan flock too. RUN JESSICA SIS RUN.
Mare Winningham to return to 'American Horror Story'
Quote:
Kathy Bates has said that she reached out to you to get her a role on American Horror Story. Are there any other former co-stars that you'd like to work with on the show?
Oh, wow, I hadn't thought of that. You know, I would love, love, love to see Amy Madigan play a character. I'm thinking of actors I've worked with who I absolutely love… Ed Harris. I could list a dozen actors, but who knows whether or not they'd be interested in doing something like this? But yes, working with Kathy these last two seasons has been an absolute joy. And the same with Sarah Paulson. You know, we worked together before, too, on stage [in The Glass Menagerie on Broadway].
I just got the chance, which was really amazing, to work for the first time this week with Mare Winningham, who just knocked my socks off. We came into this scene never having met, and it was just one of those magical moments as an actor, when you sit down and you go through the scene and there's some kind of wonderful alchemy. That's always a great joy, when you get an opportunity to work with an actor of that caliber. We've got some amazing actors working, absolutely.
(there's actually a really funny consistency between that
TF = MH, the great beginning thst everyone loved and misses now
TFM = A, the dark fan favorite that was most quality and consistent throughout
BTW = C, the messy one that the gays loved
AP = FS, the boring, weird one that everyone Hates
