Because Lady Gaga is a much more polarizing artist than Taylor Swift. Same could be said about the Katy Perry Roar/ Brave fiasco. Katy barely got any heat because she's not as polarizing. Also, people have been comparing Gaga to Madonna for a few years at that point and many people took it the wrong way.

When Gaga meets Beyonce in the iconic ***** Wagon from Kill Bill.

Till the amazing kitchen scene with Let's Make A Sandwich.

I remember waking up early to watch this video and being SLAYED It was all I could think about all day.

Being a Gaga stan during TFM/BTW eras was the most exciting experience and I feel really bad for those who didn't get to live the magic.

I still remember waking up and trying to find BTW on my iPod the morning the song was released and almost having a meltdown because I couldn't find it Then hearing it for the first time on the radio in my friends moms car on the way to school and being utterly slayed.

I literally woke up 6 in the morning to see it and I remember everyone in
my class was discussing it with my teacher. The impact was undeniable.



TFM was the high of being an Gaga stan. Literally no one could say anything about her.
I was never shocked when she won awards. I was used to her slaying everything.
