I don't understand when people here fight for things that are already proved by the numbers! Your opinion doesn't change the numbers, it never will! ATRL can be sad a lot of times
I actually came in here to talk movies but let me drag Gag in the same breath. has anyone here seen the best movie of the year 'Boyhood'? The film spans over 12 years and heavily uses popular music as a reference to time. We see the characters go through different phases of life, and the sister goes through this Gaga phase (coincidentally the part of the movie she looks the worst) where she sits in her room acting disrespectfully towards her mom while listening to LoveGame in her bed (the accuracy )
The movie makes a point out of Lady Gaga (and others like her) being one of those flash-in-the-pan artists every generation experiences, that you can pin-point to a specific (short) time period when they were ubiquitous
people were talking about last year's prom today and they said the music sucked
as a result someone mentioned how they played just dance and the entire dancefloor cleared out except for this one girl who was rachel berry 2.0/a *** hag her and her gay date were the only ones who enjoyed it
wow @ the GP rejecting her so suddenly and swiftly

Where have you been when me, Ryan and Nicole (until she started her boring watts era) were stanning for the movie of our generation?
The movie makes a point out of Gaga having been a worldwide phenomenon at one point. Linklater actually confirmed that himself.
