4 minutes BIG hit? honey it went to #3 and dropped out of the Top 10 3 weeks later and out of the Top 15 4 more weeks after that .. it was a flash in the pan chart wise .. nothing more

i didn't mean that the album sucks.. i meant the album not sold well.. from all american idol debut album, she is second least successful (from the album sales, tayler Hicks is the most unsuccessful with only gold..).. and she need to take a platinum after more than a year..

"4M" was a MASSIVE hit and would have easily gone #1 if it weren't for lackluster radio support. It was good radio FOR MADONNA, but not compared to other artists, such as Mariah Carey who truly was a flash in the pan this era.

Yes but in 2007 she was totally in this case the album was a flop. then after 1000000000 singles the albums has sold 7 millions till 2009 but when it came out yes Rihanna was totally in this situation. "Umbrella" was a big hit and her GGGB album was a flop.

4 Minutes was in the Top 10 for over 2 months and it went 2x Platinum, becoming Madonna's first 2x Platinum single in the US since Vogue in 1990. So, it WAS a big hit.
