If she had turned it down, someone would have told the media and they would have tried to turn into something else.
It will be cheesy though and we all know she doesn't do these kind of things so it could be kind of awkward. It'll probably be something I listen to once and never again.
And I've said it before and I'll say it again, Adele is the mastermind behind her work. That's why her work with Paul, Ryan, etc sounds better than their work with other artists. Diane Warren is the queen of cheesy ballads but she's an incredible writer and Adele will likely bring out something different in her.
And yeah I'll probably only listen to it once too 
They will give Adele a solo part for sure.
