An offensive/insulting remark is offensive regardless of what your skin color is.
Black people can make offensive remarks to whites - but they would say that it is not racist because of what happened in American History. But by doing so, they are avoiding the fact that they have just offended a person.
If you take race out of context, we would be left with HUMAN RIGHTS - and that's what I'm for. For equality for all.

I understand that. However that is a different discussion. You should not be offended that a white person cant use the N word if you KNOW why people have said they have a problem with it.
It has nothing to do with hatred of white people, to spite them, offend them, or to oppress them (like that could happen anyways

). It has to do with the stigma centered around the word and how it can make people uncomfortable.
White people being able to use this word will by no means further the progression of equality for them, especially since they're already on top of the food chain in America
In fact, if white people would respect the black communities ideas and simply not use the word that barely has any meaning to them, ding-ding! It would make white and black people get along better!
Also, its not just white people. Its just ESPECIALLY white people, but only because of whats happened in America. And not just slavery, the years of oppression (like blackface as well) and racism that followed even into today.
Please read the links I posted btw. Short reads.
