Britney Spears Single To Be Banned From U.S. Radio?
Quote:
Britney Spears faces her new single 'If U Seek Amy' being banned by US radio stations, due to its lyrics being misunderstood.
The track is the third single from 'Circus' and the questionable lyrics causing concern are when Spears sings the phrase 'If you seek Amy', which actually sounds like she is saying 'F U C K me'.
One radio station that is debating whether to air the song is Cincinnati's Q102, whose program director Patti Marshall told MTV: "It's OK to put in on an album, have fun with it, but we're publicly owned, you know?"
"We have a responsibility to the public... you put this... out and act like we're all fuddy-duddies, like we're trying to make moral judgments. It's not about us. It's about the mom in the minivan with her 8-year-old." Marshall added.
I agree... As much as I love the song, it can create some problems..
Now, all these ppl gon' believe this **** over ONE comment. Tabloids are bought to be a mess and her fans are gonna be the main ones fueling it. The IRONY.
lol a video is just gonna be her in a club like do somethin
No it won't. She's already stated she wants her videos this era to be different, creative, whatever else she rambled about in OK!. We haven't been in a club for a year. Even if it is, she'll look sexy and that's good enough for muah!
"Diva" and "Single Ladies" doesn't scream "Let's **** me!" like "**** ME".
Might as well. And if "Video Phone" gets released, best believe she'll be promoting child ****ography when her young fans start recording/capturing themselves and sending it through other phones.
