Red, in that regard was explosive (Red, Back Together, Trouble, State of Grave). And while feeling disjointed by both Max Martin and Nathan Chapman (two writers/producers with different philosophies) being there. Their individual work was much more satisfying than their cohesive pieces of work (1989 and Speak Now/Fearless, respectively)

I think i prefer cohesive over the individual. I prefer listening to album's as that...albums. Like, the whole thing. It just creates a better experience and keeps me coming back to it. Which is why i love Fearless so much because that album is just, wonderful.

I personally am more interested in individual tracks, and I do not have the patience required for a whole album sitting

I think the way we listen to music dictates our preference for cohesiveness or distributed quality.
