I think I'm just fed up with some of the people in here criticizing everything in such a negative and non-constructive way. I can deal with it when it's Gaga because it's the Gaga base and I hear it all the time in here and I'm numb to it.
But bringing another artist in to it was a bit far for me, especially someone I hold so dear to my heart. I was wrong to bring race into it though and I shouldn't have gone quite so far with it either. I never usually get heated like that on here, I'm usually pretty level headed.

I use to stan for Azealia during the releases of 1991/Fantasea (I mean I had a Stan Twitter, Fantasea dropped on my birthday, everything) but whew Lord.
Her personality was part of the sinking ship + honestly, her music has gone so downhill. It's all sounding the same and indistinguishable. When I tell you I had Fantasea on repeat ALL Summer with 2,000+ plays and now I could barely match 5 songs to how they sound.
It's all squished together. Sadly I think BWET is a little the same. I just remember her serving so much with 1991 + the beginning of Fantasea.
Paparazzi > everything else.

I appreciate what you're saying, 1991 and the start of the Fantasea era were definitely more accessible and had catchier choruses and raps. BWET and some songs on Fantasea take a but more commitment to the music and they either turn you off (like they did you and many more people) or make you a huge stan. It's down to taste, nothing more
And yes at the Paparazzi praise, one of her
best single eras. And the seamless transition in looks, themes, and sound from Papa - Bad Romance is so amazing
