selena wrote her new song and it slays. i truly believe that rih can an entire song with the help of someone like james fauntleroy. whether the song is uptempo, midtempo, or a ballad, she is capable of doing an entire song mostly by herself. do ya thang was a good start but i want more.
i also believe that she was wholeheartedly involved with the making of mother mary. idk, i can sometimes tell when an artist was involved with telling their own story vs. telling it to someone else and them making lyrics out of it.
mother mary sounds like rih. so does no love allowed (at least parts of it --> "***** is you blind"
), and pour it up. after nine years we know what her "voice" sounds like.
