No one expecting a full on pop album. Just because they're doing more indie/folk doesn't mean every single song needs to be a snoozefest. Fireproof isn't pop and yet it's really interesting and keeps you wanting to listen. Songs like Spaces, Night Changes, and Fool's Gold are almost painful because of how boring they are.

Have you actually listened to those 3? They honestly have some of the best lyrics I've ever heard from 1D.
